Jesus Christ said this:<\/span><\/h4>\n

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.<\/span> (Matthew 5:44-45)<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus said this during the Sermon on the Mount. Matthew 5-7<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is not normal for people to love their enemies. Jesus not only taught us to do this, but gave us an example of how to do it. When the Roman soldiers nailed Him to the cross, He called out to God, \u201cFather, forgive them, for they know not what they do.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
