If we will follow after Christ, then we must deny ourselves. It is a walk in death to the old man, the old flesh… Christ’s life must be seen in us.
Judgement must begin at the house of God. God means to try Christians now, before they stand before Him in the Judgment.

Hallelujah! There He sweat, as it were, drops of blood as He struggled through to a full surrender to His Father’s will. Ponder the struggle He faced there, and the agony He bore to face the cross for…
June 18, 2019 Good Morning Fellow Travelers, Read: John 14:1-21 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3 The words of Christ in His prayer to His Father are profound in every respect. He answers a question here that has plagued man since the beginning, “How can I know God?” This question is supremely important because of the words in our text verse. Eternal life is in knowing God as Father, and in knowing Jesus Christ. I want eternal life more than anything else on the earth, or in heaven. To live eternally with God in His eternal abode, to…

God the Father doesn’t want anyone to perish. He has provided for our salvation by sending His Son Jesus to earth to be the sacrifice for our sins. The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus makes it possible for us to be rescued from sin and Satan.
Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world, but rather He came to save the world by bringing light into it. Men hate the light of truth because it reveals their true nature.
We have been given so much. When we take the time to count our blessings and really understand where we come in the worldwide average of wealth and prosperity, we must bow before the Giver. We must bow in recognition of the fact that we have failed.

First . . . Second . . . Last, but not least, we need to place our total confidence and trust in God with a commitment to not take one step without Him.
God is not the originator of evil. That is the devil’s domain. He, together with the evil men and women he has seduced to sin, creates the suffering that goes on in the world today. The broken homes, the abused children, the adulterous relationships, the killing of untold millions of the unborn, are all testimony of man out of control . . .
