Hath God Said?

The devil has been trying to usurp the authority of God ever since he vowed to exalt himself above God in heaven (Isaiah 14:14). In his introduction to Adam and Eve in the Garden, he raised the false possibility to Eve that he knew more than God.

Why I Love to Write

I will not be able to meet all the readers of these emails. Although I would truly love to meet you some day. For now I will be satisfied to just share a little of my heart through this method. I want to share briefly, “Why I love to write.”

Follow Jesus on Foot

Are you okay with following Jesus on foot? Wouldn’t there be better ways to follow Jesus than walking? Why not ride a mule or horse?

The Inevitable Interview

We cannot evade the Divine Interview. If we postpone it today, we are sure to face it tomorrow; resist it in time, and you will experience it in eternity. Where exactly do you want this to take place? Here, where mercy is active, or over there where mercy has ceased?

Cast Your Cares on God

God wants to carry our burdens. He calls us to cast all our cares upon him, for he cares for us. He offers to give rest to those who are heavily burdened.

Is This Mercy?

God is rich in mercy. His love for us insures His mercy. But God is also just. How can He be both just and merciful at the same time?

How Great Is God’s Mercy?

There is no sin so great, no deed so dark, that the mercy of God through Christ Jesus will not forgive and forget. Claim it!

Hindered Prayer

Are you married? Were you married but are no longer? Whatever the case, these following words reveal a little of the mind of God for marriage.

Have You Been to the Mountain?

God loves to meet with His people. He loves their worship and praise. He longs to hear their prayers and observe their growth into holiness. He wants our worship.

Denying Ourselves in the World

If we will follow after Christ, then we must deny ourselves. It is a walk in death to the old man, the old flesh… Christ’s life must be seen in us.

Judgment at the House of God

Judgement must begin at the house of God. God means to try Christians now, before they stand before Him in the Judgment.

Grace and Disgrace

“Do not abhor us, for thy name’s sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.” Jeremiah 14:21

Lovest Thou Me More Than These?

The truth is loud and clear: the Lord will not take second place. Many bite their tongues on this teaching of Jesus. What could He mean that is consistent with His other teachings?

How Saved are You?

God the Father doesn’t want anyone to perish. He has provided for our salvation by sending His Son Jesus to earth to be the sacrifice for our sins. The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus makes it possible for us to be rescued from sin and Satan.

Men Love Darkness

Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world, but rather He came to save the world by bringing light into it. Men hate the light of truth because it reveals their true nature.

Much Required

We have been given so much. When we take the time to count our blessings and really understand where we come in the worldwide average of wealth and prosperity, we must bow before the Giver. We must bow in recognition of the fact that we have failed.

Freedom, God’s Way

Truth is liberating because it strips away the layers of deception we tend to surround ourselves with. One of the first steps to freedom is recognizing when we are in bondage.

Self-Examination

At least twice, the apostle Paul encouraged the Corinthian people to examine themselves. In II Corinthian 13:5, he calls for self-examination, to determine whether they were even in the faith.

Promises, Promises, Promises

If we would take the time to list every promise that God made to mankind in His Word, we would marvel at the consolations. He has promised to meet our needs in many wonderful ways.

The Bible is still the most sold and the most recognized book in the world.
