Good Morning Fellow Travelers,

Read: Matthew 7:21-27

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psa 91:1 KJV)

You will not live a godly life until you have the spirit of Christ dwelling in you. This comes by the new birth. Jesus assures us in John 14:23 that He and the Father will come and live inside of us. To have this happen in our lives is almost more than we can comprehend. How can it be that the Creator and sustainer of life comes and dwells in us? Yes, it is true.

If people only knew the joy and fulfillment the new birth brings, more would be lined up to experience it. The new birth is confessing your sins and claiming the blood of Jesus as atonement for your sins. Salvation is a free gift for all. Christ rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God interceding for each child of God. I have the assurance of His salvation, and I love to be His child. I love His people and His church. I am here in His love because I have no interest in the kingdom of this world.

Jesus prayed for us in John 17 that we would know the Father and his Son Jesus, which is eternal life. The reason this is eternal life is that we become more like Christ as we get to know Him. So many people are caught up in defending their sins and defiantly protecting their right to sinful lust while also claiming to be saved. Let’s get real. It is either one or the other. Either we are saved by the blood of Christ, or we are not saved. There is no middle ground. None.

We are either going to heaven or hell. The scriptures are true. Stop ignoring the Bible. Stop denying the existence of God to make room for your sinful life. People will only go to hell because they choose to. May you and I not be one of them. Choose life today and give your life to Christ!
