Jesus offers peace, hope, rest!
“Come to ME and you will find REST”

Jesus Christ said this:

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)

Is your soul tired?

Do you know what it feels like to have a tired soul? It’s different from having a body that is tired from working hard all day. That’s a good feeling, and it helps us to sleep at night. But having a tired soul isn’t a good feeling. It tends to keep us awake at night.

A tired soul is like a guilty conscience. It just keeps nagging us, and won’t let go. Most people know what that feels like. Our souls have a connection with God, but when we sin, we strain that connection. That makes our souls tired, and makes us feel as if we were carrying a heavy burden.

Jesus understands us, since He is our creator. He wants to help us find rest for our soul and get rid of our burden of sin. Jesus can set you free

Yoke yourself to Jesus.

Have you ever seen a picture of a yoke of oxen? They carry a big wooden yoke on their necks that ties them together. They work hard, and pull a heavy load. We tend to think of being yoked as meaning hard work pulling a heavy burden. But Jesus says that this isn’t true of His yoke.

Jesus’ yoke is an easy yoke. And His burden is light. That doesn’t mean that the Christian life will always be easy. But when our souls are rested, everything looks brighter and seems easier. An easy yoke is one that fits well, and is comfortable. A light yoke is one that we can pull.

Being yoked to Jesus also keeps us from straying from Him. And it means that we always have His help available at all times. He is not a harsh master, like sin is. He will pull His share and more, of the load.

Jesus invites YOU

Jesus says to all of us, “Come to me.” So if you are tired of sin, and feel crushed beneath its load, come to Jesus. He will give you rest.
